No wraps, mostly disbound. 30 [of 34] pp., illus. w/ frontis. engraving composed of 3 figures depicting the eclipse. Frontis. present, lacking pp. 31-34, with pp. 29/30 showing losses in margins and one dime-sized hole that results in textual loss. Other leaves show occasional minor chipping to edges, but the interior is otherwise intact. Grade of Fair-Good reflects incomplete state rather than overall condition or wear. Exceptionally scarce.
