This edition limited to 200 copies, printed for the Americanist Press by Rozov Press, Philadelphia. An early and favorable critique of Poe, in part written in response to Griswold's savaging of his reputation, during an era in which he was almost uniformly ignored by the mainstream literary press. The Saucony Book Shop is proud to own the remaindered stock of several similar reprint publications by antiquarian book dealer Norman Kane's American Press issued in the late 1960s.
